My fellow backers,

This weekend we pulled in to my goal of $2,000.  I am amazed and impressed that we got here in only 3 weeks, with one week to go!

Visually, what's on my mind?  Wild fire.  The dry, cracked winter land is consumed with bush fire, on any day at least 10 to be seen spotting the road at random.  Often, they are dangerously close to the road and households. There will definitely be a mark of fire in my upcoming work as I play with human interaction in the surrounding landscape.

Please keep in mind, $2000 is a minimum needed to create this work over the next 15 months.  If you have a moment, please share the news of this Kickstarter project to keep the pledges coming - Facebook, email, and in mid-conversation are all great ways to engage!  If we can hit the $2,500 mark by 4 June (one week away) I plan to add a miniature print series as a reward.  Anyone who has or will pledge at the $25 level or higher will receive an original, miniature mono-print (5x5 inches) in addition to the aforementioned rewards.
