We started as a trio of musicians who would play together for fun while we were students at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. At our first major gig in 2003, a lightning storm shut down power at the Mann Center, where we were performing. While the crew was scrambling to fix the onstage lighting, we improvised an all-acoustic jam session in the dark. (This is where we say, "and the crowd went wild!") And that's pretty much our creation story. Now we get to perform at venues all over the world, from clubs to concert halls, and spend lots of time mentoring the next generation of classical musicians.
This is so exciting! I am a retired Science teacher and I truly believe that kids learn best by doing. Your efforts in behalf of young students goes beyond what we may do as teachers.I believe that they will be inspired not only by the video that you have made, but by your courage, creativity and dedication to helping others. You are coming to Wichita, KS and I will be there!!!
I greatly enjoyed your show in Santa Fe, NM.
Your theme for the video is a fabulous rendition of a wonderful piece!
I would love to have you come up to Alaska. Are you interested and available?
We are SO excited for you! This is a great turn out and we are looking forward to the results.
Wishing you all a wonderful experience. Donna and Peter

Congratulations for reaching your pledge goal guys!! I'm still in awe of you and how wonderful you were to all of our String students at Music for All Summer Symposium! Performing with you was the highlight of most of their camp experiences, and watching that concert was definitely a highlight of mine!
Keep doing what you're doing, you guys are awesome!
Congrats from the Sybarite5 crew!

Congratulations on attaining your pledge goal! This video will be a wonderful contribution musically and socially. Keep on makin' a difference in the world!
Watching you this summer at Interlochen, MI, I was struck that you paid as much attention to the WYSO members behind you as the audience in front of you. I can't help but think that you all are/were such an inspiration to those gifted young players. This video is spot on and I'm proud to be able to help support it. Thank you!
Happy to help out this amazing group continue to do amazing things! Glad to see you are well on your way to your goal. Looking forward to the final product that will embody multiple messages near and dear to our hearts!
After spending two years watching how Tf3 has impacted the Indianapolis community as Ensemble-in-Residence with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Kaspar family is proud to support this group. So excited to see what they do next!
Glad to support you guys in your first music video! You're a great inspiration to young classical musicians (including the young double bass player at my house). Everyone should be able to follow their dream without fear of being teased or put down for it.
My son is a rising high school freshman trumpet player. Right now, he thinks band is kewl, but he hasn't really started high school yet. I think your project is a a worthy one, and I hope to see the results. We saw you with the NSO and Arlo at Wolf Trap and became rabid fans. I hope you return to the DC/MD area soon. Good luck!
My daughter is a "band geek" with her trumpet (said with love as we are a family of band geeks), a violinist, and a vocalist, among other things, of course. It is her TALENT, however, that gets her ostracized at her very small, private high school. While her situation is not the same as yours, she struggles with a different aspect of music as her lifeblood as well as that which causes her social grief. It is her senior year and all I can do is pray that she finds the inner strength she needs to fend off the bullies who lead others to act like imbeciles. That means you, Hannah A! Thank you for being an inspiration. We'd love to see you in Oberlin again!
