“The Slope” is a comedy that follows the lives of a lesbian couple navigating their way through modern-day Park Slope, Brooklyn. One year into their relationship, Ingrid and Desiree continue to hash out a power dynamic that ends up making them look homophobic, superficial and ultimately, perfect for one another.
The first season of the show was self-funded and relied heavily on the donated time of friends and colleagues. Making this show is a pure labor of love, but for us to be able to continue making new episodes we need help to afford the costs of production.
These costs include: camera rental & shooter, sound equipment & mixer, website design, editor, craft services, transportation, as well as Desiree's masseuse/personal trainer/nutritionist.
Our work is entirely contingent on the people who enjoy it and we're inviting you to take an active role in the process of making it. Without your support this show will cease to exist. So even if it's just a dollar, pledge to show your love!
