Preservation of the Gullah/Geechee culture is incredibly important. That culture -- and the skills of this people -- shaped our nation in so many ways that are not acknowledged. What has happened to them -- and is happening now -- at the hands of white developers is shameful, and not acknowledged. Please give a little to this project.
