A 6 piece collective, childhood friends, TheBadBadThings are set on making themselves a staple in Los Angeles Music. Drunk Rock Fiesta!

TheBadBadThings, are a Drunk Rock Fiesta. We play our music for you, for our friends, and for our community. Our story is simple. We all grew up in Culver City, Los Angeles. We all share some of the same influences in music. We all want to party and play music together. We all have an itch to be creative. And we all have become a family.

TheBadBadThings as the band members describe it, "just want to play music and pay their bills." It's not a priority to win a Grammy yet, but rather
be able to support ourselves doing what makes sense in our lives:
playing music. Kryss, Mikey, Terry, Nate, Casey, Aaron, and most recent addition, Sheldon, just want to entertain. Kickstarter for us, is the vehicle to

pursue this path. After a year of playing and writing together, TheBadBadThings are finally in the studio making a record, our self titled EP.  These are the songs we love the most and the tracks we never get tired of playing. These songs have been the anthem and playlist since we started.

Kryss, the lead singer, is our brass knuckle princess.  She is tattooed, loud, and as sweet as sugar.  Kryss embodies her influences in any way she can. Granted, they are not of the punk rock genre, but Billie, Ella, Erykah, and Amy seem to be doing right by Kryss so far. TheBadBadThings embraced Kryss from the start.  Now you would think that without Kryss, the boys would walk out of the house without their pants on if it wasn’t for her reminding them to, “get it the fuck together Pretty Babies.” She is along for the ride and down for the fight. TheBadBadThings will rip your heart out with a kiss and a smile while you beg for more.

New Zealand born Casey is our backup vocals and backup percussionist.  He has shirt that says “Sad songs make me happy”.  It’s a good motto
for him because Casey has always liked to make people laugh and have a good time. He keeps the crowd going, keeps smiles on their faces, and keeps a drink in their hands. As far as Casey is concerned, it is just great to be

in a band with some of his best friends.

Mikey is the rhythm guitar rebel and comes straight outta’ Culver City with
a guitar strapped to his side and ready to shout out a song. This
former violently shy kid has been writing songs since his teenage years.
Growing up with a punk rock, folk, and a gritty country background, it
was easy for him to latch on as song writer and rhythm guitarist forTheBadBadThings.

Terry first started banging on the drums in 1999. He was heavily influenced by bands like The Misfits, Pantera, Slayer, and Sepultura. In 2003, Terry helped get the ball rolling for death metal band, Abysmal Dawn, where he recorded two full length albums and went on several US tours.

Nate initially put down his bass to dive into studying culinary arts full time.

Passionate about food and music, he tried for several years to balance
the two, but the excitement and gratification of performing music greatly overshadowed Nate’s drive to work in restaurants.  Eventually cooking took the “back burner” to music and he is now the bass player with TheBadBadThings.

Since receiving a Bachelors and Masters degree in Guitar Performance, Aaron has explored many facets of music-he plays jazz guitar and piano and is a vocal coach and a choral conductor.  He completed his studies with a Masters of Arts in Teaching.  In November we had to say goodbye to Aaron due to personal commitments in his life.

Sheldon, our new lead guitarist was created when a white-hot meteorite of pure rock and roll crashed into an active volcano in Kaneohe, Hawaii on a cloudy September morning in 1975. Any resemblance to the parents who raised him is purely coincidental. Sheldon received a BFA from UCLA in Theater Arts.  Before joining TheBadBadThings, Sheldon was the lead vocalist for the band, Manic Automatic.

Attached are some videos from summer 2011 (battle of the bands), and rehearsals, we're silly!

WHY? How?

We need your help Pretty Babies! We are hungry, not in the "I need a
burrito and a beer sense," but in the sense that this money will help us get on our way to realize our musical goals. We will be recording our EP at the end of January, and after that, we will need to create TheBadBadThings merchandise, and print copies of CDs.  In February we are putting together our EPK (electronic press kit) and will be filming the music video for our first single, "Cut me". Don't you want that? We want and need your help. Our financial needs are broken down as such:

EP- $2,500

Merchandise- $500

Cd duplications and art- $500

EPK & Music Video- $2,000

We have made a little, saved a little and are close to being able to pay for studio time. This is just our starting point. Let the race begin!

People like to believe in something: Obama, Unicorns, Aliens, True Blood HBO. We are the cure for the Mayan Calander. We are America's 40 acres and Mule. Because "The Bad Bad Things" could not stop for death....Hell stopped for us!

So please donate what you can and let's make the 2012 pretty Bad! We
love each and every one of you.  We have always shared our lives with
you and now it's time for you to share your wallet, support, devotion and computers with us!
