In todays music environment of multi-million dollar studio production budgets and global marketing campaigns, it’s difficult to launch a successful album release without the backing of a major record label. It is my strong belief that this does not have to be the case. We live in an age of social media, where the global community has the power to ban together in order to achieve great things. That is why I’m asking You to be my record label. Help me launch my self titled album to the general public, and achieve success without the support of the corporate record label industry. 

With your support I will use the marketing strength and knowledge of the independent A&R company, A&R select to promote and guide my career to the next level. Through the help of their resources, I will be gain access to the following: Worldwide distribution to over 150 digital stores, an A&R Representative will cover my music, promotion, and help to guide my career, copyrighting and performance rights registration assistance, a press release will be written by an in house publicist, image consultation, a publicity campaign including 120 genre specific media sources (including internet radio stations), 10-15 submissions to record labels, a radio campaign including 450 college stations, and a single will be promoted to 100 Billboard reporting FM radio stations.

The cost of all of the things listed above, and more, are normally covered by the record label, but I am hoping to bypass the need for a label with your support. A&R selects services are not free and will run a little over $2000, but in return, they receive no cut of my earnings. This up front cost allows me to avoid the “nickel and dime” effect that many labels place on their artist after the release of an album. I keep 100% of the proceeds gained by merchandise sales and royalties from radio and TV plays. If successful, I will be able to broaden my fan base by gaining distribution to a national audience, and in turn, increase my album sales substantially without having to share a large cut with a label. 

In addition to gaining representation from A&R select, I will also be having one-hundred limited edition 12” Vinyl Records pressed of my self titled album. It is my belief that true art deserves the best canvas, and nothing is better than vinyl for the true music enthusiast. The art of manufacturing a vinyl pressing is labor intensive and costly (about $1500 for 100 pressings), therefor I am asking for your help in making this dream of mine to come to fruition.
