"Tonight I Will Dream" is an original dance performance centered around the collective dreams of the audience.
"Tonight I Will Dream" is an original dance performance choreographed by Sarah Rae Brown. It is designed to guide the audience through a night of its own dreams. The show is currently in rehearsals at the recently established Minerva Arts Center in North Adams, Massachusetts.
There are fifteen performers in the show, and what they dance on the stage is what the audience is dreaming. The show begins with the audience 'going to sleep,' and then the dancers go through fifteen interconnected dance numbers, which slowly morph from nightmarish to, hopefully, the happiest dream the audience has ever had.
We need funds for building a set, buying the costumes, shoes, and makeup for the dancers, setting up lighting and a sound system for the performance, putting out publicity, and paying the production crew.
