Update #6: BTTD Selected for Fiscal Sponsorship by SFFS
"Back to the DeLorean" was officially selected for Fiscal Sponsorship by the San Francisco Film Society. This means that donations to the film from now on are considered charitable contributions to the arts, which are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Update #4: Jumping Gigawatts - We Did It!
Dear Friends,
I just found out that we have reached our minimum fundraising goal of $5,000, which means my DeLorean documentary will indeed be completed in 2010! Thanks very much to everyone who participated in this fundraiser and pledged their support thus far. Obviously, I couldn't have done it without you, and I can't say 'thank you' enough!

Update #3: Don't Stop at $5k ;-)
Dear Friends,
A lot of you have been asking me lately:
"It looks like you're going to make it to $5k, so why do you need my small change?"
First, thank you for the vote of confidence! We still have a ways to go, to be sure, but I do believe we will indeed get there! That being said, $5K is the MINIMUM that we need - plus Kickstarter receives a commission off the top of that. The truth is, movies are very very expensive, and there is already more than a used sports car worth of debt on my credit cards. Needy as it may sound, the more money we can raise, the better!
So, in that spirit, please don't hesitate to contribute even your small change. Every single dollar helps! If everyone who reads this contributes just $5 dollars, we will have a spectacular movie on our hands! Also, please don't forget to post about the project on your Facebook and Twitter profiles.
