Dear Backers,

We are in the beginning stages but i'm about to send Kehrer all the low res files so they can start editing, that's very exciting! Also, i've had to answer a bunch of questions about design and such, i'm just so happy that Kehrer is making this book, they do such beautiful work and I know they will make this one something special, yeah!!!!!!!

Here's an example of some of the book specs....

trim size (horizontal? vertical?): number of pages: wordcount / number of essays: languages: hardcover /softcover? authors: proof reading (provided or by Kehrer? - we can do a full proof reading or check the already proofread texts) number of images (and type of images - prints/digital, color / b&w?) image processing: provided by you or to be done by staff of Kehrer Design? graphic design: provided by you or to be done by staff of Kehrer Design? paper: printing (full color?): number of copies needed by the client: date of delivery: place of delivery:

and more more and more questions have been coming in.......

Also, Tony Angell the writer for my book is preparing his words, he's a Corvid, or for those of you not in the know, he's a crow and raven specialist! An artist, writer and totally amazing man, I can't wait for you to meet him!

Hello Backers!!

As you may have noticed, this project was fully and successfully funded! Also, the amount was funded $2000 bucks over what I was asking for which will cover the percentage that Kickstarter and Amazon make from me.  That means I can send $15,000 plus a $2,500 donation from The Brainerd Foundation here in Seattle and $2,500 out of my own pocket to Kehrer Verlag in Germany and the book editing will begin! 

It's all so exciting.  I've poured over these images for a few years now, going back into my negative files ( I shot mostly film for this) and finding new gems, I hope this will happen again so there will be some surprises for all of you.  Thank you so much for believing in this work and helping to get this work out into the world, you are all so incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!
