Love your model, very good lateral thinking, perhaps it is a unification of artists in a way? Or do I misunderstand...?
This is a really great idea. My model, Beat-Play uses a social network to allow friends to share the music they like. You follow someone who you share a taste in a music with, and anything they like enough to save to their own playlist, automatically gets sent to your radio. If you like it, and playlist it, it gets sent to anyone following you. It's a free way of distribution and promotion, and it can actually make piracy irrelevant. Artists can give their music away for free, because if they are good, they will spread with our model, then we can give them large percentages of ad revenue based on popularity. That way the most popular artist's music can be shared as much as the fans want, and the artists can track it all, and get paid from it. It is going to be revolutionary. We are just entering internal beta stages now. We would ALWAYS be open to working with projects like this. We could use some extra developer dollars right now. Anyway, I hope you read more about us, and at least consider us. We have designed our model to have the best chance for success, because we put the users, and the music, first. I love what you're doing. More info: http://beatplay.wordpress.com http://MusicWithoutLabels.com
