Fashion designer Ashlee Brooks is one of few emerging designers throughout the country to have been invited to participate at Los Angeles Fashion Weekend, March 16-18. The Fall | Winter 2012 Ashlee Brooks Collection debut at this exclusive event is a rare opportunity for emerging talent and a crucial jumpstart for the success of a clothing line.

The generous funding will pay for the completion of the collection, and entry fee. Any additional donations will fund the production of peices from the Fall | Winter collection. 

A Dallas native, Ashlee has stayed true to her Texas’ roots. She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Fashion Design and Business Entrepreneurship. She applied her education to the real world as co-partner/designer in the fashion label, Varela + Brooks. The contemporary women’s apparel line featured a 32-piece collection of unique cocktail and evening dresses, separates and outerwear for women. Within one year of launching, Varela + Brooks participated in New Orleans Fashion Week, were leading fashion design contenders for a national, fashion based, reality television show Fashion Star on NBC. She received runner-up recognition in Texas’ Next Top Designer competition, attained numerous media articles and accolades, and is involved in a variety of fashion events.
