About this project

Hello Kickstarters!

Vessel is a very ambitious scifi short film in the vein of Alien, The Thing and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Although we have obtained most of our funding, we still need that last $8500 in order to complete the project. Here is a short description of the film and how we plan on using the pledged money.

Vessel is the story of the passengers of Flight 133, a redeye on its way from Boston to San Francisco. Midway through the flight the passengers encounter an otherworldly force and are subsequently thrown into a fight for their lives. The story focuses on Danny (an everyday traveler), Emma (a flight attendant), Chloe (an unattended underage passenger) and Jim and Murray (the two pilots).

The pledged money will be well spent and will go right into making Vessel an amazing experience. Any amount pledged will go to both Production and Post Production. Here are a list of things you are helping with when you pledge money:

- Location costs
- Equipment rentals
- Camera package
- Ability to hire much needed crew
- Visual effects
- Creature effects
- Color timing session
- Sound mix
- Scoring the film

If you like what you see, please make a pledge and be a part of this amazing project. Any help you can give us will go a long way! Keep checking back for updates as we will continue posting about the status of our production. Thanks for your time.
