I truly wish I had more photos of Molly to share with you all. But alas, I only have the one. However, there are many stories of Molly that did not get into the book. So I thought I would share one with you now:
When I was building my house, Molly loved to sit and watch the construction workers. Of course, one of the last tasks is the actual painting of the exterior. For some reason, Molly especially liked watching the painters. As it turns out, they were a family operation (3 brothers) and were very meticulous. Molly was so intent on following everything they did, that if one took a break to go to the bathroom, she would follow him and make sure he came back to finish what he was doing. If one tried to leave to get more supplies, she would follow him to the truck and bark at him (as if to say, "hurry up and get back to work") It got to the point where they were afraid to take too many breaks for fear of Molly "chastising" them. It took them about a week to finish. The day they left, they said "Molly's the best boss we ever had...she really kept us working. We are really going to miss her."
