Ceremonial Sketches will be TDW's most ambitious show to date.  It features choreography by all three company members: Philippa Myler, Jennifer Aoki and Jenn Edwards.  We are also collaborating with lighting designer Ray Mos, multi-media artist Andrew Haw, and composer Zane Barratt.  Thematically, the show explores life's stages.  It progresses through the boundless energy of childhood, the social conventions surrounding rites of passage, and the responsibilities of adulthood. Both the momentous and mundane are illuminated in this series of movement sketches.

The show will premiere at the Scotiabank Dance Centre on July 21st and 22nd.   Instead of waiting the required two years of incorporation to be eligible for public funding, we are going to produce this show on our own.  The show WILL go on, with or without external funding.  But with your help we can reimburse ourselves for hard costs, such as the venue rental, rehearsal space, advertising, costuming and props.  Please help us make this show the best it can be, by supporting us in any way you can!
