Update #6: We Made It!
Update #5: 100 Story House featured in New York Daily News.
Dear Faithful backers,
The Hundred Story House was given an entire 1-page feature in today's New York Daily News (Brooklyn Edition) pg. 41. This is the latest gauge of the popular support that the project has received so far and is a sign that you've all done a great job of spreading the word.
Here is a link to the article online:
With $7,435 (57%) raised and 13 days left we are in good shape to reach our goal. Not taking the moment for granted, we will continue to promote the project, solicit contributions and post updates until the goal is met.
Thanks so much again for your support. Lets keep it moving!
Julia & Leon

Just backed this project! What a great thing. I, myself, recently got my MS in Library Science and am trying to find work in the field. I'm pretty passionate about free books/lending libraries being incredibly important to society and something everyone should have access to, so, Kudos and good luck!

Update #4: Kickstarter lists 100 Story House "Project Of The Day"
Dear Faithful Backers,
We are proud to say that Kickstarter has named The Hundred Story House "Project Of The Day" http://www.kickstarter.com/ Click the link today-it'll be gone tomorrow!
This is an indicator of the popular support you've helped generate by your donations and outreach. We've raised 40% of our total goal so far. If the pace of funding keeps consistent, then we could be on track to be fully funded by our deadline of March 2.
We'd like to take the time to show some of the rewards available at the $250 level. The "Masterwork Remix Series" is a set of collages created from classical paintings cut out of old art history text books. The central figure or object of interest has been removed with an exacto blade to allow the viewer to insert their own thoughts into the context of the original painting. The collages are individual works on paper, signed and mounted on 9 x 12" paper.
We thank you again for your support,
Julia & Leon
