Corsetry by Angela Friedman has been creating corsets and lingerie for women all around the world for the past five years. Now, for the first time, Angela is producing a complete collection to be released for Spring/Summer 2012! You can help make this dream a reality by contributing to this Kickstarter campaign, in whatever amount you can afford. The Versailles Collection will feature lingerie designs that emphasize a woman's natural curves and beauty. The color palette and fabric choices are selected for their soft nature and rich elegance - silks, brocades, French lace, pearls... These are luxury garments, created to last for years to come. The collection will feature corsets, silk bra and panty sets, lace slips, garters, silk robes, and accessories. Angela's garments are carefully designed to empower women by showing just enough skin, but never too much. You can be sure to feel feminine and confident in these new designs.
Your contribution will help purchase fabric, lace, and trim for samples and production; offset the labor cost of creating the clothes; pay for the studio, photographer, and models to shoot the collection; print promotional materials; and produce a presentation fashion show in Spring 2011. To completely fund the line as envisioned, it will cost a great deal more than $5000 - but with this minimum, I can create a small collection and start to build this dream! All backers will have access to project updates and insider information on Kickstarter, and I look forward to meeting many of you at the preview event in a few months! No - each contribution earns a reward (listed in the right-hand column), and becomes a purchase of that item. You may also choose to contribute any amount and ask for no reward, but there is currently no option to invest in or loan money to the project.

Will you create another collection after this one? Can I participate in the pre-sale event later on?
Yes, I plan on creating many future collections! There may not be another Kickstarter campaign for future collections, but I can keep you updated via email if there are. The only opportunity for purchasing pre-sale items is through this website until December 4th. After that date, no more pre-sales will be offered, and all items will only be sold through retail stores beginning Summer 2012.
