THE ROAD TO EXTENDED PLAY
Hey,
My name is Michael and I write songs. I've poured every ounce of me into each one and would love nothing more than to be able to share them with you.
Once a house cat, afraid of everything beyond the front door, I selfishly safeguarded my music for years. Until now.
I've given up and sacrificed almost everything I can in order to better my chances for success.
Success? Success in music means having the ability to create something that's meaningful and lasts. Something that will stand the test of time. Success means being able to eat, breathe, and continue to make music as a result of you supporting me, because you believe. I know where I'm headed, but I won't go without you.
Making this album is step one.
As I'm sure you can probably guess, the recording process is a demanding one. Not only of time and energy, but also financially.
This is where you come in.
The songs are ready and so is the studio. I'll be recording in January at The Vanguard Room here in Lakeland which is a full quality studio owned and operated by Aaron Marsh of Copeland and Matt Wilbur of Woodale.
$5,000 is the goal and what is needed to record, mix, master, design, and press this 5-song album.
Side note: Kickstarter is always all or nothing, so we can't fall short of our goal. But we can most definitely go over! Every penny that's raised will go directly to making this album a reality.
