HELP SUPPORT OUR INDEPENDENT FILM PROJECT

STOP, LISTEN is a short film that follows an aspiring DJ/techno music producer as he waivers between placing his trust into the hands of a talented yet self-destructive up-and-comer or a business savvy A&R man. It is the age-old story of art versus commerce updated into the contemporary world of rave culture.

The project started as a short story I wrote for a creative writing class at UC Berkeley. I felt passionate about the story because it mirrored my own experiences as an aspiring electronic music producer. I later adapted the story to script and enlisted the help of an experienced, creative team of childhood friends:
