Update #7: The CD is here!

After innumerable delays and much expectation, I finally have the hard copies of the CD in my hands! I'm ready to send these out to all of you (who have backed the project at the level of $20 and above). Now I need mailing addresses. I'll be communicating to all of you through Kickstarter to hook things up so I can get your disc in the mail asap!
Now that the CD is here, I'm getting the publicity and the radio promotion going in earnest. Hopefully, you'll be all hearing and seeing a lot about Unsung Heroes in the next few months - and when you do, know that it's all because of your support!

Update #5: We Made It Thanks To You! - Now The Journey Begins...
Well, the project has reached its deadline, and thanks to all of you, we've made our goal! It truly feels wonderful for me to have been supported and helped like this. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. I hope this will be a fun and fulfilling journey for you to share in the progress of"Unsung Heroes" from this point, knowing the role you have in it.
We went substantially above the goal of $10,000, enough so even after Kickstarter's 5 percent cut and the bank fees I'll have five figures to work with. This is going to make all the difference in the world as far as getting the music noticed in today's crowded jazz scene! And this funding will also make sure that the completion of the physical CD and other products will be executed in the best and most timely manner.
In the next few days I'll be working on a schedule for the CD release and the production of the other products and goodies you'll be variously getting based on your pledge. I'll be contacting some of you directly about your rewards to let you know when they'll be ready. The high quality digital download of the basic Unsung Heroes material is ready now - just give me a couple of days to get access to download codes (I'm on the road this weekend) and I will get them through to you. Expect more frequent updates as I get moving on executing both the project goals and your reward fulfillment!

I'm a Grammy Award winning trumpeter, composer and bandleader. I've played and recorded with them all, from Art Blakey to Eddie Palmieri to Prince. I'm doing my own thing now too through my label Hollistic MusicWorks.
I will write a review of this CD on examiner.com., including the unique funding. I'm sure the music will be up to Mr. Lynch's usual standard of excellence, so there's no need to fear the review.
