Food trucks you say? Do you like the idea of food trucks? Do you need a quick and easy solution for lunch but are tired of the same old boring and unhealthy fast food? Stressed for time ?  Mobile food trucks are a great time saver and also a fun, innovative dining experience. Do you want to help support a small business in the community and see jobs created for area residents? Then jump on the truck and let's get rolling....and cooking too! We are a mobile food truck that started operating in the summer of 2011 and are in desperate need of an upgrade to better serve our community. Cook'n Wheels started small as traditional funding was not available, however our dreams and imaginations were huge and we decided we had to start somewhere. Currently our menu is limited due to the lack of cooking equipment on the truck we have now and the availability of commercial kitchens to do the additional cooking at is also limited. We are working hard to change that and plan on upgrading our truck to a more versatile and efficient unit that will enable us to better serve our community by offering a wider variety menu that will include southern inspired dishes, healthy options, and summertime favorites all at a price that everyone can afford. With the expand capabilities we will be able to offer quick and easy meal options for office complexes in addition to servicing community events.  The other reason why we are pushing so hard to upgrade the unit is to fulfill another goal of ours which is to promote change in our community and create jobs for at risk youth and adults. This upgrade can only happen with your help. As many of you know traditional funding is hard to come by and we have exhausted every option and avenue possibly available and unfortunately have been denied by banks due to their unwillingness to support new business ventures to obtain the additional funding we need to put it all together. We are 70% of the way to having all of the equipment and materials we need to make this upgrade happen. You can play a vital role in helping us reach our goal of $5000 and enjoy the new and improved Cook'n Wheels in the community. By pledging $250 or more you can let everyone know how much you love food trucks, small businesses, good food, and supporting your community by attending the grand opening and take part in signing the new truck. Your name (or company name) will be imprinted on the side of the truck and be seen where ever we go. When you pledge $500 or more you get the ultimate reward of having a signature menu item named after you. And of course you also will get the opportunity to attend the grand opening and sign the new truck too.
