Update #13: BASIC DECENCY: A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE PARTY

Posted on November 22, 2010

To celebrate the whole BASIC DECENCY project, there'll be a party in St. Paul at Mancini's Lounge on Saturday, 12/11! Any and all are invited, and encouraged to rock the gentlemanly/ladylike attire.
And we'll have copies of the book on hand, in case you find yourself needing more. Further details at http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php...

Update #12: The books are here!

Posted on October 14, 2010

And they look great! I'm starting up the shipping machine now; hoping to get at least a first batch of books and supplemental stuff out this weekend.

Thanks, everybody!

Update #11: Suddenly Humming Along

Posted on October 4, 2010

The switchover from Old Printing Company to New One is complete, and things are suddenly rushing along. I got a proof of the book late last week (and it looks RAD!); spent some time yesterday making a few corrections, and the final order has now been placed in New Printing Company's system.

w00t!

So, in a few weeks I should have some books to send out to everybody; in the meantime, I'll be working on commissioned comics and getting original art pieces ready for people whose donations earned one.

Things are on the move!

Update #10: Printing Delay, continued

Posted on September 24, 2010

Well, I just fired the printer I was working with; the delays and lack of response crossed way over the ridiculous line.

I'll be setting things up with a new company, and trying to get this turned around as quickly as possible. I'm still hopeful that I can at least ship books and rewards in October.

Really, really sorry for the delay. I think the book'll be worth the wait, but this wait shouldn't have happened.

Update #9: D'oh. A Delay.

Posted on September 16, 2010

Quick update on the Gent's Gent book: I'd expected to have a proof copy in my hand early this week, and to have the final order to the books in. Unfortunately, it didn't shake out that way. There's been a delay at the printer... I don't know for sure when I'll be getting the proof now, but they say it'll be ASAP. So... we'll see what "ASAP" means.

Not a huge deal, but I guess at this point I think it looks like books and bonus materials will ship in mid-October. Sorry about the slippage.

thanks again for the support,

Keith
