SimplyAmazinc, LLC is committed to manufacturing and packaging the SoundBender in the USA, supporting much needed jobs! We are currently working with Vista Technologies a local family-owned company in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota to manufacture the Sound Bender, a local independent industrial designer, Matt Kusz of Kusz Ideas, LLC and other local US vendors for packaging and other needs!

I'm glad you asked this question. The SoundBender is produced in a Polypropylene material. It Is a strong yet flexible material and perfect for injection molding, the process the SoundBender is manufactured in. The best comparison would be to Tupperware. The SoundBender can be produced in any color and remains sleek and durable so it's ok if you drop it. I will put together a video montage describing this. Thanks again for the question!

My name is Moshe Weiss. I live in St. Paul, MN along with my wife and 3 children. I am a Rabbi and teacher by trade and have always had ideas and inventions, always looking to find Simple Solutions to Everyday Problems. This past summer a good friend of mine gave me the iPad2 as a gift. Like most iPad owners right away I began cupping my hand by the speaker in order to amplify the sound. After one day my hand was getting tired so I cut out a band-aid box and affixed it to the speaker area to replace my cupped hand. It worked and the SoundBender was born!
That very week I began making clay and wax molds trying it out on my iPad and started developing the prototype with a local manufacturer and industrial designer. Soon after what began as a wax mold and toothpicks was transformed into 3D CAD models for prototyping and injection molding.
After perfecting and re-perfecting the SoundBender for improved functionallity and sleek design I am truly proud of the result... and so are my kids :) Please help continue this dream and bring it to the next level!
