About this project
ABOUT THIS PROJECT: This winter we will begin production on our New Haven based feature length film, My Brother Jack. Our goal with this Kickstarter campaign is twofold. The first is to raise a minimum of $20,000 which will be used to help pay for the hard dollar costs of pre-production. The second is to raise awareness, build a fan base and most importantly connect with people who have an interest in getting involved in the world of independent film in Connecticut.
We will use this Kickstarter campaign as a way of communicating with you, the Backers and fans, keeping you involved in the process as we move closer to the start of production. As a Backer of My Brother Jack, you will be the first to learn about casting, locations, screenings and other live events and will have an insider’s view of the project through post production and release.

Film Synopsis: Twenty years ago, on Christmas Eve, celebrated artist JACK BURNS and his brother VINCENT witnessed the murder of their parents in cold blood. Now the man convicted of the murders is released from prison and is found brutally stabbed to death the same day. Who killed the killer?
All signs point to Vincent who battles the demons of mental illness and sleep paralysis – a condition that blurs the line between the real and unreal.
To protect his brother, Jack is forced to confront his own demons and uncover the truth of what really happened the night his parents died - A truth that threatens to burn away his life of fame and fortune with murder and lies.
