Backers and Friends:

Well, it's official. At long last and thanks to your support, SALMONBOY is a wrap. We have taken a story which was already full of heart, and given it a little more. And now that we've finished revising, adding polish, and laboring over each edit, we can't wait to share it with you.

The film is being mastered and we expect to have the completed version in a few weeks time. An eager Star then gets to shift his attention to producing the album (which Rain is helping to engineer) and the project will officially transition into full-on distribution mode.

Screenings, concerts, festivals, merchandise, digital downloads ... it's a comin'

We will roll out with local showings, each of which will be announced via KickStarter, and the SALMONBOY Facebook page. Please friend us if you have not already. Each of you can play a role in this next phase, but first we have a simple request. Come see what you helped create.

At all turns, this project has been an extension of our lives. Now we hope it makes a little imprint on yours. Thank you one and all for the support on KickStarter and beyond ...

Friends and Backers:

Shirt, EP, and DVD orders shipped last week.  We hope you enjoy this limited edition release of the film, and the initial sampling of Star's music.  It felt great to package these up and send them to you.

This final stage of post production has moved along seamlessly, and we could not be more pleased with the progress and outcome.  Sharing our previous cut as a Reward on KickStarter is going to allow us to do something even cooler - show you just how your generosity and support translates into our final version of the film!

We encourage you to watch the cut that we sent and post your reaction via the project message board on KickStarter, or the SALMONBOY page on Facebook.

Once we have fully Mastered the final version, WE WILL SEND EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO KICKSTARTER A COPY OF THE DVD.  With your help, this is the version we will take into the world, and we are grateful for this unique opportunity to share that which you helped create.

For upper level backers who also ordered prints, these will be shipped over the next few weeks.  Happy spring to one and all, enjoy the film and music!

Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to spend the past two months post producing our initial cut of the film into a final version for release.

Tomorrow we are headed back into the studio to re-track voice over, as we ready for a final phase of post production, including color correction and audio mastering.  

Stay tuned for screening dates once the revision is ready to exhibit.

We are pressing the EP this week, and will begin to ship backer rewards.  A limited run of both the EP and initial Producer's release DVD will be available online when we launch the film's website in the coming months.
