Kelly, this is exciting! And it's practically in my back yard! I write, animate, and have film experience. My animation is a little rusty (I'm back in training) but if you ever want to shoot and edit a nice video to promote this wonderful idea let me know. I can do great work with my cheezy equipment. ;)
