About this project
Shortly after completion of the film, our mission for distribution began. We now have acquired representation by Ostrow and Company and are on our way to the Toronto Film Market in September and then to the American Film Market in Santa Monica this November.
We are now raising funds to pay for the marketing and promotion involved with selling the film to a potential distributor. The money will go to prints, ads, screeners, booths, etc. This is a great challenge, but with the backing from a producer's representative, good promotional material, and one last strong push, we are confident that we can get our film sold and distributed throughout the U.S. and beyond.
We ask that you please join us in this last effort no matter how big or small your contribution may be. Thanks for all the support from our San Antonio community and friends, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Our goal is to have the film distributed by the end of this year, that is about four months from now. Our intention is to have a theatrical run followed by DVD and Blu-Ray distribution as well as iTunes.

The money will go to prints, ads, screeners, booths, etc. Our Reps will likely need several packages for each separate potential distributor and we want to make sure we are fully loaded.

Unfortunately not yet. We are aiming for distribution on DVD and several other medias, and to make unprotected copies at this time presents a risk of pirating and a fault of respect to our producer's representatives. However, as a contributor, you will be the first to receive a copy of the film once a distribution deal has been reached.

Yes, in fact, our first film market (Toronto) is the ideal venue for acquiring international distribution and we intend on making it happen.

At age 22, Véliz wrote, directed, produced, and edited his first feature film, La Tragedia de Macario, which was officially selected and premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Today, Veliz continues to work as a filmmaker and is recognized as a promising director from San Antonio and as a leader in the community.
