Danger Lab is a comedy web series featuring Ellis Rodriguez (comedian) and Melissa Melançon (Smosh). Join the fun!
We have the cast, the crew, the studios and locations... We just need funding to help offset some of the production cost. All members on our team are committed to using their sweat equity to make Danger Lab web series a success. The money raised will go to lighting rental, sound recording and most of all...prop creation. We have the rest of the resources to meet our production needs, not to mention our crew with over 40 years of combined Film/TV experience.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The two major pitfalls facing us is time and props. Most of the time we can pull some strings and do a few trades with vendors and suppliers but that only goes so far. Our biggest need is custom props and stage items. We can green-screen backgrounds and overlay items but to really bring entertainment to the story we need over-sized coffee cups, alien laser riffles, hospital beds and gigantic electrodes.
The funds to help pay for prop creation will also help us manage our time as every hour spent is crucial. Most directors/producers know time is precious, especially when everyone on your cast and crew has day jobs.
Our goal is to complete a four part episodic series and release it June of 2013. We hope to produce a fun and entertaining web program on YouTube. If it's successful we will continue the series.

We like to be op-en minded but we are not ashamed to admit that we are MAJOR Mythbusters fans along with shows like SMOSH, Big Bang Theory, The Guild, Space Janitors, Star Trek, Mr. Wizard, Beakman's world, and Muppet Labs.
The only difference in our show is that anything and everything will happen. This makes it fun to watch from the safety of your home.
