In the spring of 2011 we (Joel Marsh and Nick Calvino) will be making a new film for submission to multiple national and international film festivals. For years I, Joel Marsh, have been making films and learning from each experience, creating new and visionary projects that are both entertaining and emotionally touching.

This specific film was born of an original story by Joel Marsh, later turned into a script by Nick Calvino, and edited and co-written by Joel. We won't tell you too much about the story, because we want it to be a surprise, but the main plot involves two brothers who are struggling for their lives in a world destroyed by disease. The movie focuses on the relationship between the two brothers, and the emotional dynamic of reliance and trust that such a situation forces.

The film is called "When," and will shoot in mid-March, so we're hoping to raise the funds early, so that the planning stages can be completed efficiently and we can have a successful efficient shoot when March comes around.

We're going to be shooting on the RED camera, which is one of the most sophisticated digital cameras in existence, and will bring stunning clarity to the cinematography helping to emphasize the grunge and squalor of the situation. The shooting dates are in mid-march of 2011, and have been all planned out, including locations and production crew. The lead actors have also been cast and will start rehearsing this winter, in order to be fully prepared in the spring.
