I've been making jewelry for almost 30 years now. My early interest lead me to the Rhode Island School of Design, where I deepened my skills and love for the art of jewelry. In 1993, I received my degree in Jewelry and Metalsmithing and launched Steelhead Studio.

Now a well-established brand, Steelhead Studio incorporates gold, silver, and a wide spectrum of beads into its designs. Styles range from minimalist and modern to bold collages worthy of your inner diva. Now, with your help, I'll put these designs into production.

Many artists relegate their creative gifts to a secondary position in the career queue. I've decided it's time for my jewelry business to be my "real job." No other job I've had is nearly as fulfilling as selling something I've designed and created directly to a customer. There is deep satisfaction in knowing I've helped make someone's wedding, birthday, holiday or every day special with just the right piece. With your help, I can expand Steelhead Studio and reach more customers online at Etsy and in person at select art fairs and specialty stores.

Part of Steelhead Studio's expansion will include teaching as well. I have four years of experience teaching beginners how to make very basic jewelry, and will now be able to develop more classes, and share my skills with more people.
