Thanks again for your generous contributions and making this project possible! All rewards have been divvied and are on their way to you, unless you've already seen me and received your complimentary, attitude of gratitude hug! The final checks have been written and all has gone better than planned! 

Now, for the next chapter, we will be looking to send a local Austin artist to another regional event! I have reserved $1000 towards this goal. Shortly I will be asking for a call to artists within our community in an effort to write this next reciprocal collaborative chapter. I'll keep you posted! Thanks again!

Hello generous donors!

What a tremendous success! The Flaming Lotus Girls (Gee-Gnome) and The Art of Such n' Such (Mr. Nice Guy & Rabby) brought their awesome, interactive fire art pieces to Burning Flipside and contributed their own distinct, distant flavors into our Bad Idea soup! How ironic - what a great idea! Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!

I would like to get rewards to donors as soon as possible. If you are here in Austin, please come by Church night tonight and get your rewards - you will have a choice of stickers and patches if you do so. If I do not see you tonight, I will be sending out rewards next week and *I* will decide which stickers and patches you get! Exercise the freedom of choice and come be rewarded! 

For those of you that are out of town, I will be managing the shipping of your rewards over the course of this next week so we can get squared away. Thank you so much for supporting!

The Flaming Lotus Girls will hold a workshop at Flipside on Saturday 2-4 pm on how to build their style of propane flame effect. They will bring parts to construct and operate a "poofer" and cover various topics, including: fire safety, pilot and ignition systems, choice of parts and fuels, and much much more! 

All are welcome to attend and will receive instructional materials, in addition to seeing the real deal put together. If you are interested in building and taking home your own poofer, email us ASAP to receive a parts list so you can bring the materials to construct your own along with us at the workshop. This opportunity will be limited to 10 people, though you are welcome to buddy up to save costs and enhance the learning experience. If there is sufficient interest, we will consider adding another workshop on Sunday.

I just wanted to send out a quick update about upcoming stuff & things:

* I apologize about the survey snafu - please submit information directly to me via email (if you haven't already): amybunker@gmail.com 

* I will be passing out rewards to donors at Burning Flipside at the Hive Camp (huge white tents on the main field) on Friday, May 27 from 5-7 PM for the Artist Meet n' Greet - come speak with the very artists you helped support!  

* If you can't make it at that time, we will work out another time and place. For those of you that require shipping: I will be making those arrangements after Flipside. Thank you for your support and patience!

* Things are moving smoothly with the project, all systems are underway and going: art, artists, transportation, fuel, workshop, rewards, tickets - everything is aligning!
