Attention video game nerds!!! I’m putting together a book called Bits in Multiples of 8: An 8bit-64bit Video Game Fan Art Book which, as you may have guessed, is a book dedicated to the days when the power of a video game system was judged by how many bits it said it had, and how much excellence could be crammed on a single cartridge! The book will be perfect bound and have grayscale interiors, and will feature piles of pixel-fueled radness from a bunch of high-scoring artists!
My initial goal was to have this book be a zine format, staple bound book, but since I received so much incredible artwork by so many awesome artists, I have since abandoned that idea in favor of having the book perfect bound in order to feature as much art as possible! The book will be premiering at this years' Small Press Expo in September, be somewhere around 88 pages, and will feature artwork by such talented artists as:
