About this project
The Green Emerald is a 13-song rock opera, complete with an accompanying illustrated storybook. The rock opera, an odyssey of musical ideas, will be performed on December 4 and 5, 2009 in New York City, shown with a screen display of the book's illustrations.
YOUR PLEDGE OF $15 GETS YOU A COPY OF THE STORYBOOK AND A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD OF LIVE MUSIC FROM THIS ROCK OPERA.

*****************************************************************************
THE STORY is the tale of a legendary jewel that, when asked the right question, can grant one wish. Yearned for by an ancient noble, coveted by an evil king, and understood only by a wise princess, the Green Emerald had the power to vanquish our ancestors' one universal flaw: their inability to see color.
THE STYLE OF MUSIC is uniquely eclectic influenced by classic rock, jam, jazz, progressive, latin, world music, and much more. For author/composer Corey J. Feldman, this rock opera is a mix of fresh musical ideas, as well as years of music that piled up by the wayside of his main project, Mercury Landing (and some of which was performed and practiced by the band over the last 4 years).
THE ARTWORK is being designed by CHINGEL - www.CHINGEL.com - and will accompany the live music performance both with hardcopy storybooks, as well as a screen projection of the art during the live music performance. CHINGEL, also a talented live painter, has expressed interest in painting during the two performances.
THE GREEN EMERALD BAND consists of 7 all-star members involved in New York's vibrant music scene.
