Update #1: Product prototypes
Part of what makes Zoonz fun and potentially inspiring to children is that animals are sorted into groups with a unique card design. These groups are small, consisting of 10 to 30 (or more) cards. Each mailing will contain just a few cards from several different sets and children will be able to complete sets each month.
Our goal is to show the breadth of biodiversity, not just the iconic forms. For example, every child knows about the Giraffe, but how many know that there are 9 reproductively isolated subspecies of the Giraffe? A Zoonz set of Giraffes would consist of 9 cards showing the subtle yet fascinating differences between the forms. Subscribers will receive an education in zoology from people who are passionate about animals. This attention to detail through our passion for animals is what makes Zoonz special.

Sorry you didn't make it. I hope you try again, several projects I've backed but failed have succeeded on their second try.

If you do try again, have you considered making the cards into a game? Keep all the info and art the same, just add a few elements that will let cards be part of a game that kids will play over and over again. For example, kids know more about pokemon critters than real critters because they use the pokemon cards all the time, while info about real critters, no matter how neat, are looked at once or twice then put away.
