The Pirate Queen of the Star Raider graphic novel is going to be blockbuster galactic level space adventure. With healthy nods to both Star Wars and Star Trek and a tip of the hat to Pirates of the Carribean. Any fan of the Sci Fi genre will find something for themselves in the Pirate Queen. It's going to be a roller coaster sci fi ride while still taking health jabs at the Sci Fi status quo!
Ava Bloodstone, the Pirate Queen of the Star Raider leads her band of cutthroats and scallywags in a deadly gambit to steal the treasure from a rival captain, Lutharous, captain of the Demascus.
I'm going to have a bunch of great Art Rewards and 'Be in the Book' Rewards! I'll be adding more 'Be in the Book" Rewards as I go. These are great collector's items or great presents. My main challenge in these project is simply time. I've been a comic book artist for 17 years and worked for just about every company out there. And the trick to creating comics is simple, sit at your desk and draw it. And that just takes time. That's the great thing about Kickstarter, with the ability to raise the funding for the project ahead of time, it allows me the ability to sit at my desk and draw the project. I'm really just raising the money to allow myself the time to create the projects that I've had sitting in my head for the last few years while I've worked on comics for other people and companies.
