About this project
THE WORK:
"poco a poco se anda lejos" is a movement exploration of has-been beauty queens struggling to make a comeback. Choreographed by RU faculty member danah bella, it is performed by Radford University Dance Majors Samantha Hopkins, Emily Lee, Alyssa Moser, Ali Padgett, Caitie Potosnak, and Caitlin Ressegue.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The performers have been invited through an adjudication process to tour "poco a poco se anda lejos" to Boston, MA in March 2012 for the American Alliance for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance's National Gala. An opportunity that is difficult to pass up, these exceptional dancers NEED YOUR SUPPORT and are raising funds to assist with transportation, food, and lodging for the 5 day trip (4 of them spent driving round trip from Virginia to Massachusetts). Any contribution, small or large, would be an investment in the future of these 6 talented artists.
