Maybe it will be known as the Kickstarter generation. Everyone always talks about taking the power back. Putting the strength back in the hands of the people. But Kickstarter has actually done it. Money/Paper/Hearts feels privileged to be a part of it.

Kickstarter is all about your fans and your local community helping to get music out that THEY like. Music that they want to hear and be a part of. Not the songs that some greedy business exec at a record label deems "hot" at the moment; who treats your art like a commodity. It's about working hard day in and day out, on top of families and jobs, on a creation you are so proud of. It’s about your sweat in every note, in every word.

We are so stuck in a culture right now of “what’s in it for me” and “how am I going to get rich”. But this next generation realizes that less for me means more for everyone else. And there’s plenty to go around for everyone.

Money/Paper/Heart’s new album, Let Me Panic, champions this exact same idea. The amount of support that has been given to us already is a sign of how this new generation is taking care of each other. Everything on this album from the artwork to the engineering has been done by our friends, fans and local community. And this is the final step.
