Admission for you plus a guest to a Pterodactyl show of your choice - Bring a friend and come see Pterodactyl for free! A personal recording of Pterodactyl covering a song of YOUR CHOICE!! Hopefully something with some nice vocal harmonies and pleasant guitar licks? We'll record it ourselves, but it'll sound like a pop gem!! We'll use whatever instruments seems like they fit the bill: ukulele, harmonica, wurlitzer piano, etc. If you're interested in this reward, but the price tag seems a little steep, consider teaming up with a friend to meet the pledge amount! You can always share the reward!
Pledge $400 or more Pledge $400 or more
A 30-minute acoustic performance by Pterodactyl - We'll bring some gentle acoustic instruments and sing your favorite Pterodactyl songs in three-part harmony! (Unlike at some pterodactyl shows, you'll actually be able to hear the vocals!!) We'll prepare requests for songs off older records that have been retired from our live show, and even cover a few songs of your choice. You'll have to give us some advance notice on any requests, though, because we like our acoustic performances to be extra special. If you're interested in this reward, but the price tag seems a little steep, consider teaming up with a friend to meet the pledge amount! You can always share the reward!

Here is an excerpt from the bio for the new record:
On third album Spills Out, Brooklyn noise-punk mischief-makers Pterodactyl have mutated from their abrasive loft-show roots into a glorious, broken-pop juggernaut. Spills Out gently leads the trio towards the uplifting, wistful harmonies of '60s rockers like The Zombies, CSNY and the pre-acid Beatles.
In the two years since the psych-inspired Worldwild, members of Pterodactyl went through various life changes, from romantic break-ups to the ending of long-held jobs, to the terrible loss of a close friend. Once the treble-saturated brats of the Brooklyn underground, Pterodactyl is digging deeper than ever, towards a place where sunny songs have uneasy cores, where shimmering harmonies can explore recession-era anxiety, and heartening squelch juxtaposes sadness and loss.
