The neutron bomb became a symbol of American culture for 30 years. See how you can get a screen credit on this historical documentary.
Iconic and deadly, the neutron bomb became a symbol of American culture for 30 years beginning in the 1960's but little was actually know about it to the public except what was written about it in the press. "It kills people, but leaves buildings standing" was the six second sound bite which defined this horrifying weapon to the public.
The Neutron Bomb Movie is an edgy and polarizing exploration of the mind, character and culture of the controversial inventor of the neutron bomb - the world's most despised WMD; a weapon so unpopular that even the U.S. Government found it despicable.
Through use of dramatic restored archival footage, new production footage, visual effects and music score, this richly visual and trippy historical odyssey takes viewers on a thought-provoking journey that is highly relevant to the hotly contested debates and discussions of today's post 9/11 world.
Filmmaker Pete Kuran takes on this subject in a new documentary about the neutron bomb. Kuran's previous 5 documentaries, beginning with the award winning "Trinity and Beyond" have all explored the history of the atomic era with previously classified footage and information, unseen by the public until first revealed in these films.
"My films portray contradictions and controversy. I like to communicate through the prism of narrative landscapes, internal and external. Presenting polarizing thoughts and ideas in my previous five documentaries has reinforced my commitment as a filmmaker. The "Neutron Bomb Movie" is probably the most controversial of all, polarizing everyone in the political and scientific spectrum that become involved in the debate.
