This is the official kickstarter campaign for David Choi and Clara C's Fall Tour in 2012!! We are so excited to be going on tour together. A lot of you may see us on youtube everyday but we finally want to remove the computer screen between us and you and meet all of you in person!
So when we normally tour its by ourselves (as a lot of you have seen) it is us up on stage by ourselves with a guitar. That is still an amazing feeling connecting with all of you like that but we want to take it up a notch and bring you the full experience so we are both bringing full bands so we can just have a crazy party at each tour stop!
We are looking to do about 20ish cities right but we definitely want to hit as many cities as possible! So your donations will go to things such as
- Flights
- Car rentals
- Hotels
- Gas
- Sustenance
- Paying our wonderful musicians
- Equipment rentals
- A loooot of other stuff
The goal of $18,000 is just a fraction of the cost of the tour but we are hoping that with your help we can make this tour possible! Check the donation levels on the right side. There are a lot of different levels so everyone can get involved. You can get an email to let you know about the tour before its official announcement to buy tickets, autographed tour used gear aka the very mics we slobber on and use throughout the tour, or even studio time in our private studios (private studios have Prol Tools HD, SSL, Avalon, Manley, Blue Mics and a multitude of other gear), a private concert, backstage passes, or even a chance to propose on stage at one of the tour stops!! (Foreign donors, outside of the US/Canada please add $5.00 to each level for shipping costs)
But we hope that we can meet all of you on our 2012 Fall Tour cause without you guys we would not be able to do what we love each and everyday!

Unfortunately the $18,000 will only cover a fraction of the tour. Most people do not realize this but its incredibly expensive to tour with a band! In fact a lot of artists lose money while touring (even Lady Gaga was losing money touring when she started!). Most of the money for this tour is coming straight out of our own pockets but that's perfectly fine with us if we get to see all of you and share our music!

Unfortunately unless you bid on the level where you can get backstage access you will have to wait to buy tickets for the tour. There are 2 reasons for this. First off a lot of venues do not allow us to presale tickets ourselves as it creates a mess for them if people are buying tickets from multiple sources and secondly we do not have a definite tour schedule yet. We thought it would be worse if people bought those packages and then found out that they cannot even go cause they have a date conflict or the the closest stop is too far away from them. We believed that with the levels at least EVERYONE would be able to walk away with something.

We are working on the duet right now. We both have extremely buys schedules but this collaboration song is something we both want to do for all of you! Chances are we going to release the song to all backers before the tour starts!

The private studio is where we both get to work on our music. Chances are if you are an indie artist as well you are recording in a home studio. We get that it is really tough to find an affordable recording studio so we thought that this prize would be a unique prize for anyone interested in cutting a demo or wanted to work in a professional environment. The studio has 1 control room and 1 iso room. We do have some pretty nice gear at the studio. If you are a gear buff some of the gear in the studio is
Pro Tools 10 HD, SSL X Rack, Mac Pro, LA-2A, Blue Mics (Kiwki, Cactus, Bottle), Earthworks QTC 40, Neumann U-87ai, Manley TNT, Blue Robbie, EL-8X (2), Royer 122, Vintech X73i, Avalon 737sp just to name some of the gear.
Also if you get the donation level with a sound engineer one of our engineers (Grammy nominated) will help with your session to make sure you get the best sound possible.
