One Week Until Tribeca!
Dear friends and supporters!
We are ONE WEEK away from our premiere at Tribeca. It's totally unbelievable and exciting and we're running around like crazy people trying to get ready for it. Tribeca held a press screening of the film last night so we hope to be able to share some good reviews with you soon!
So first off, a huge THANK YOU to all who have contributed to this film’s campaign. We are currently 42% funded and could not have gotten here without your support! It’s really awesome to know that people like you are intrigued and moved by Zola and Tiger Temple’s story in the same way we are. There’s also something particularly inspiring about receiving support or even a kind note from someone we haven’t yet met.
This campaign has reminded me of the time when I was first getting to know Zola. I noticed him putting his little stickers everywhere - on a wall, under a table, he even put a few on me and my tripod! It later occurred to me that even if only one person saw that small sticker on my stuff and then asked me about it back home in New York (which happened many times), that was one more person than before that knew about this guy from a tiny village in Hunan province and the cool work he was trying to do.
In much the same way we could use not just your generous help, but also the help of the good people you know to reach our film’s completion-funding goal for this kickstarter.
So please share this link with your friends to help us cross the finish line. Perhaps even ask people to match your donation. It’s never a bad idea to remind people who don’t already know that this Kickstarter project will only be funded if we meet our goal.
