Dale McCoy is President of Jon Brazer Enterprises. JBE has produced over 100 electronic titles and 4 print titles. The Book of Beasts: Monsters of the River Nations won the Gaming Genius Award in 2011. Myself, I have been writing role playing game games for the past 6 years and have been playing them since the 1980's.
I kind of like the outline format on the right. It did not distract from the reading, like I thought it might, and if anything would make it a little easier to run the game as it was easy to reference what DC revealed what information.
I would prefer to see the two, and decide which would be easier to utilize when running it for my group.
I prefer the reading friendly format, but that is because I do like to read it like a short novel and then make notes about how I want to run it. I would be happy to look at it, and try to give some feedback.
Almost at $2000... any addtional stretch goals/rewards to try and entice people to $3000?
Thank you Wes! We Made the Goal! Onto the next goal, the goal of trying to get 3 book in every box.
Congratulations on making your goal
This is a worthy cause...I can't resist anything with kobolds on the cover...good luck!
I'd like to see you succeed. Just trying to give you potential backers' POV. I'm sure you'd like to see the $$$ pour in too.
Its a signed copy. And the book is only free on Free RPG Day. If you did not get a copy on that day, there is a cost. Plus It also includes all the benefits of the lower levels.
If you do not feel the rewards are worth the benefit, feel free to withdraw your support.
Right, something that most consumers get free would "cost" $50 through kickstarter.
A printed version of the adventure is available at the $50 level. The PDF will be freely available shortly after Free RPG Day.
Mostly pledged $1 so that I could leave a comment.
I really like the idea behind the product, but I find the different rewards underwhelming, overall.
Specifically: I live in a small town without a FLGS. Any chance you could include a physical copy of the adventure in some of the rewards?
