Hi. My name is Dale McCoy, President of Jon Brazer Enterprises. As you may have heard, we will be detailing the Plane of Shadows for the Pathfinder Role Playing Game with a number of print releases in 2012. This line of books will be called Shadowsfall. One of the books we want to do is an adventure, and we want to give it away on Free RPG Day.
This adventure, Shadowsfall: the Temple of Orcus, serves as an introduction to the plane of shadows and is an easy way for adventuring parties on the material plane to have their first extra-planar adventure. The characters learn of a family’s disappearance and quickly discover they were dragged to the Plane of Shadows by a group of zombies that act surprisingly intelligent.
The adventure itself is already written and is currently being edited and playtested. As you can see the artwork is beautiful. However, the biggest obstacle is still to come: printing. The minimum print run for giving an adventure away for Free RPG Day is 600 copies, larger than any print run we have done to date. To make this project happen, we are turning to you. With your help we can print enough to get Shadowsfall: the Temple of Orcus into every Free RPG Day box. This is a huge way to get game store owners that carry the Pathfinder Role Playing Game as well as Pathfinder gamers to see the high quality of Pathfinder Compatible books.
This goal will require $1,200 and we have a number of Shadowsfall-themed rewards for contributors. However, if we get $3000 dollars, we can 3 copies in every Free RPG Day box. This will allow for even greater exposure for the setting and for Pathfinder Compatible books. Anything beyond this goal will help to bring down the cost of the Gazetteer.
