Kickstarter

Alright, I guess we haven't really "made it" yet since it will sit in cyberspace until we get approximately nine times more than we've raised in the last five days, but at any rate, it still feels really good. It's almost crazy, really. To me at least. 

But as I chill here, drinking coffee out of an all-purpose REI camping cup and reading about Kelly Oxford's latest string of successes in the LA Times, I'm beginning to think that maybe it isn't so crazy at all. In fact, it's pretty damn logical. It you work hard and stick to something, you'll get somewhere. If you produce quality work, people will believe in you. I'm no Kelly Oxford, but I am Marissa A. Ross, and I think my team and myself have proven that we work hard to produce quality. I'm just so grateful that sixteen of you have recognized that and have decided to be a part of our project. 

Hopefully I'm making sense. I'm not used to writing this early/without enough wine in my system not to give a shit.

The point is, 

well, I have two points.

1. FUCK YES! WE'RE DOING IT!

2. THANK YOU!

I will cheers you all this afternoon, when it's an appropriate time to finish that bottle of cab in the kitchen.
