With ample wind in our sails, we're heading to chicago to record our 4th full-length release with the people we love and it's gonna cost around $2,000. Of course, any more than that would allow us to expand our recording process, but at this point, we can pull it off for $2,000.
We're only asking for half.
With 30+ songs and two new members, we're headed to Observatory Studios. After recording our last album "Addie's Diver" with roommate Erik Rasmussen, he's officially the only person we trust with the new album. Here's the catch. Erik moved to Chicago to open Observatory Studios where he currently runs his operation, which, by the way, is a smooth operation and can fully facilitate our needs. We only want the best for everyone, you included. We will document our time preparing for and at Observatory Studios in full scope and technicolor with both audio and video (filming began months ago). The entire recording process will be filmed in HD, in addition to the shows leading up to it. The featurette that follows will be released around the time of, if not packaged with, the new album.
If you contribute even a dollar, your name will appear in the liner notes of the new album. It's the least we can do. In addition to liner notes and autographed physical copies of the album, there are a few things we're offering which you will never find available again. In addition to personal items and artifacts directly from the band, if you donate $100 or more, We will stencil you a limited edition band tee in your size! This, of course, includes the autographed physical copy as well as your name appearing in the liner notes.
As a very special one-time-only, the first person to donate $200 will receive one free 7 hour day of studio time at Observatory Studios in Chicago! (Must provide transportation and lodging)

One of Josh's sweaty white v-necks worn while recording the album, signed and ziplocked for optimum... freshness? A signed physical copy of the album upon completion and your name will appear in the liner notes. The very strings used on the album, pulled directly off of our guitars (Josh, Jason, and Michael's), as well as picks used on the album, PLUS any drumsticks Jimmy breaks while recording, plus a photo of us holding said materials for proof of authenticity, plus whatever the hell else we feel like throwing in your very special package compiled just for you during our time at Observatory. In addition to all of that, you will get one half hour Skype session from inside the studio to meet the band, ask questions, get updated on the status of the album, and assuming it's a tracking day, sit in on a little of the actual recording process!
