Introduction

This is my FIRST album, of what I hope will be many, in my musical career! The Creative process has been a long and morphing one inspired by an idea and the help on several musicians and friends.

A few months ago I asked my friend and musician Jeremy Siskind if he'd be so inclined to record with me. He accepted, thank goodness, and it began the workings of a great musical relationship. Jeremy and I have been working on some great arrangements on some standard jazz tunes its be a fun ride. He's a great pianist that I highly recommend you listen to.

The songs chosen for this album were inspired by personal loses and gains I've had in love. Although I the lyrics and original melodies are not my own, I feel they still find merit in not only my life, but the life of anyone who has been in or out of love. I could go on for days  about the lyrics and their meanings, but I shall not "bore" you with the details (unless you want to have a side conversation. I'd be more than elated to indulge you.)

A little more about the project and what you can do to help!

First of all DONATE! After that the magic begins so tell a friend! Word of mouth is the best way to raise awareness and raise funds. ANY amount even a dollar is helpful. Post a status, tweet about anything you can do to help would be awesome. I have to raise all the money I hope to obtain to receive it. But please please don't think that meeting my goal means I've completely raised enough money to entirely fund my project. Meeting goal will be great! EXCEEDING my goal would be even better.

Recording is tentatively scheduled to take place in November, in a beautiful studio provided by WGBH in Brighton, Ma, just outside of Boston. The money raised will go to the cost of recording, mastering, copyrights and other marketing expenses.

I know that this site is full of amazing projects and and albums that tell stories of victories and reasons to celebrate and ways to help. I have nothing that makes my project "stand out" among the rest. What I do know is this, everyone has been in love, sometimes its forever and sometimes it doesn't work out, and sometimes you just don't know, and that is what this album is about. I'm passionate about the emotions and the genre I choose to express them in. This is why I sing jazz and this is why you should donate to my project!
