To Add Depth to the One-Act Performances (from backdrops to props)
Launched in 2011 and held every 2 years, the Canton One Acts Festival is the newest tradition at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton, Michigan. This Festival highlights original one-act plays and provides emerging directors with an opportunity to direct a short show.
The cost to run a high-quality Festival is a significant sum and we are grateful for the Partnership for the Arts and Humanities in Canton for providing the grant that helps "kickstart" this Festival. However, we now seek additional financial support to cover items as small as set pieces to as important as insurance coverage.
Thank you for supporting the arts with your donation that will enable us to produce a spectacular Festival!
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Our continuing challenge is how to stage a high quality Festival on a limited budget. Our commitment is to be as creative as possible with what we have to work with.
