my floppy package arrived today and was 0.o when i saw the state of the package that i was hoping no buttons fell out during transit. Opened and saw that comics and book were wrapped in plastic but buttons were just in the package. Lucky all were counted for >.<
Mail transit can be scary.
Loving the book format, looks wonderful. Comics are great read... This kickstarter was worth it, u guys did a wonderful job.

Just got my Red String Special Package today (maybe yesterday. the mailman put it in the garage due to the rain). I had forgotten it came with the stand alone comics so was totally surprised to see them in there! The buttons are fab and I've already lent out the Erstwhile book to my stepdad.

I think I might be overdoing it on the comments at this point... but I have another question. The delivery says September 2012, but at this point do you know if that means early september or late september? (and this question would be about the Red String package, if that changes things because of the extra books). I'll be moving halfway through the month, so that changes the shipping address.

Hi Kelly. Each of the artists will be doing one of the illustrations. The prints will be illustrations of their favorite fairy tales. We will have previews of the designs to share as the campaign goes on. Standard prints are usually 8.5x11, and mini prints are usually 1/4 that size.
Choosing a Bride will most likely not be put into the regular Erstwhile books. There are several reasons behind this decision, but I feel it's for the best. ^_^

I was wondering, what exactly is the three piece set of fairy tale mini-prints? The description doesn't mean much to me.
Also, would you be considering putting Choosing a Bride in print (such as the current Erstwhile book, or maybe a second Erstwhile book)? I have a preference for physical copies (especially when it comes to comics) so I was just wondering.

Helen, I added the buttons into the packages after the kickstarter got started. By the time I added the buttons we had already had pledges for the princess package, so Was unable to edit the description. However, we made a note on the left sidebar to let folks know all three packages get button sets.

I just upped my support from $30 to $75, moving from a Prince up to a Noble Knight. I have a collection of buttons, which made the higher level appeal to me. I budget my finances carefully with each paycheck, so I may increase it later on. With over a month for you to raise the remaining $2,026, it looks like it's going to be a success!

Kelly, thank you so much! The card would not be charged immediately. Once the campaign ends (successfully) a survey is sent out from Kickstarter with requests your shipping and billing info. When you submit that form back, only then are you charged.

The stand-alone comics are 28 pages each. The Frog Prince is a modern retelling of the Grimm tale of the same name. Queen of Hearts is a short original story set at the court of Louis XIV of France. Love of Sausage is a comedic autobiographical tale about owning Dachshunds. All three comics have been out of print for some time and we are resurrecting them for this campaign. We will also be including in the Prince, Princess, and Puppy Love packages three different button sets. The Floppy package will come with all nine button designs.

I wanted to know if I could get more info on the stand alone comics. I don't mean to be cheap but it's essentially $10 more from the storyteller level for 1 extra comic or $20 for all three. I'd be interested in how large these are, many pages , hard/soft cover, color/b&w. I love the work done by all the Erstwhile artists and I love supporting webcomic artists as much as I can, but I'd like to know more about the stand alone comics so I can decide better if it's worth the extra cost for me. I need to budget myself on things like this. Thanks
