The Muscovite is about a Method Actor who get's so deeply into his role that once he's finished, he can't remember his old personality.
Foist and Foimost: The only reason the above video is even remotely entertaining is that my friend James Manzello was able to reprise his role as Rollo Martins and that the lovely and talented Marlena Pavich basically directed the thing while I sweated about holding the green screen relatively still. So thank you guys so much! Also, special thanks to Andrew Anthony for helping me hugely with the edit!

The Concept:Can a short film be epic? Can it pack the same scope of a feature into it's much more efficient length? The Muscovite will be like the Citizen Kane of short films; it will blend crackling dialogue, fully formed characters, a story that moves like a freight train, and a bloody good ending into one 50 minute visual and emotional feast. Don't you want to see if we can pull it off?
The Kickstarter:
For those new to Kickstarter, here's how it works: any pledge you make towards our $10,000 Goal remains in an escrow account operated by Amazon.com. That means that if we don't get to $10,000, your pledge is returned to your account like nothing ever happened. And if we do reach $10,000, the money is put into our film fund, and we can start shooting!
The Question:
What is perfection in Acting?
The Answer in Film Form:
In 1931, Lent Little, the first Method Actor, got so deeply into his character (a Civil War surgeon in A.J. Gibbon's ill-received I, Saw Bones) that once he was done filming, he couldn't remember who he was in the first place. He fell off the face of the earth, and though he was the greatest actor of his age, now he's largely forgotten.
In 1961, A.J. Gibbon walks into a bookshop and steals the only copy of I, Saw Bones he's seen in 30 years. The proprietor, Bernard Coates, catches him, and over tea and the threat of arrest, forces Gibbon to admit his role in driving Lent Little mad. But Coates is too fixated, too well-informed to be just an overzealous fan; by the end of their conversation both will have no secrets left.
