Darker in Shadows is an Urban Fantasy created by Michael Riley.

I wrote and put together an entertaining adventure set in our world -- only filled with monsters. The world shown in the pilot needs to be explored in greater detail. Taylor’s history is only hinted at, and we have no idea where Chris got his powers, and come on who doesn't want to see Steph get back at Edgar? I want to bring my world to life for your enjoyment.

We shot the pilot a few months back and had an amazing time; however, as a first outing it was a balance of good and bad. Having more experience, I want to give you guys the series that you deserve: the series with more Ancient Vampires, Old Gods, and trash-talking best friends.

We want to build the series that I have imagined. In order to do that, we need funds to upgrade our equipment, gain the use of an editor who knows what they are doing (I do not), and hire a stunt coordinator to make the fight scenes something worth watching. In addition to that, costumes and a few props are also needed. Luckily, for this first story we have the locations taken care of.

A great deal of the original cast will be returning along with some new faces since the expanded story has a expanded cast (Backers will be getting a sneak preview of our main heroes.) I, Michael Riley, will be returning as writer/director along with Richard Caliandro: my ever-faithful and nagging Producer. 

We need you now! Anything you can give will make this show one to remember and fill us with the confidence to continue the stories of these great characters. A link to the pilot is below. Some stuff will change, but the heart and soul of the show will remain the same.
