5 Days. 40 Theater Artists. 15 New Plays. A time where new plays are born. The heart and soul of a theater company.
Every summer, Partial Comfort members and invited guests get out of the city, and to a rustic and charming locale in the CT woods, where we spend 5 days developing, rehearsing, and reading up to 15 new plays.
Our days are jam packed - when people are not in rehearsal or sitting at their computers working on revisions, they are outside reading a book, or taking a hike, going on a group swim or just sitting and chatting with friends new and old outside in the summer air.
This is really the heart and soul of our company. Members fly back east from LA to attend, people take days off from work and carpool out of the city together. Members and guests now bring their small children with them. It's become a real family reunion. It's our chance, once a year, to reunite and strengthen our creative and professional bonds. It's a chance for us to remain an artistic family, and we cannot imagine how our company would have survived 10 seasons without this annual getaway.
We are asking you for your help to make this possible.
